We are slowly making some very minor updates to our kitchen – we have big plans, but not big money. So we are taking it slowly. My kitchen is a cacaphony of color, but I am trying to pair it down to be a cacaphony of vintage color. Focusing the focus, a bit.
It started with these curtains – which make DH and SS very happy, it seems.
And now I am making a wall hanging on the facing wall. Just a pop of vintage color. I love it. Wish I had finished it this weekend, but I did make some good process.
I stole the color scheme from Lori Holts many awesome fabric collections. It features orange, red, aqua-y blue, brown, yellow. And some low volume text vintage-y looking prints.
When we were sizing it up to see if it would fit on the wall, DH said it was pretty. 🙂 Mental happy cartwheels, party of 1.
